About Me

Hi, I'm Ryan—a UX Designer based in Washington, DC with 10+ years experience in ecommerce management, creating exciting digital content, and collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, technology experts, and end users.

Throughout my digital career I developed a broad skillset, but I thrived most when making website improvements, identifying problems and needs, and introducing solutions and new features. This led me to a UX deepdive, which turned out to be a perfect union of this professional passion, with my natural tendency towards efficiency, and educational background in Psychology.

I have a proven track record in propeling businesses forward by delivering what customers need. With a passion for problem-solving, I love learning how things work—and then making them better! I am currently looking for a full-time UX role and would love to connect with other digital professionals.

What I'm Into...

🥕 Cooking

I like getting creative in the kitchen and rarely make the same recipe twice… trying something new is half the fun! Who’s your favorite chef or food blogger?

🐾 Amatuer Dog Training

Marketed as a black lab mix, my rescue pup Enzo is in fact a highly energetic pitbull-chihuahua. Do you want to exchange training techniques?

✈ Traveling

Living in New Zealand for 2 years after college, I worked in hospitality with people from all over the world and gained a real appreciation for different cultures, traditions, and backgrounds. Where would you go if you had the time and money to travel anywhere right now?

🐔 Chicken Finger Fanatic

Ketchup was my preferred sauce until age 18, when I went to Wake Forest University, and learned that ranch is so much more than just a salad dressing. I also studied Psychology, but ranch was a revelation. Have you been to Putters in Winston-Salem, NC?

😨 True Crime

So many good survival tips! Also, Keith Morrison’s voice is a lullabye. Do you have any Podcast recommendations?

🥈 Running

There was a time when I identified as a runner, but we are on a break. It could be a break-up. What keeps you motivated?

What are you doing these days? Let’s chat!
